• What are limited edition prints?

  This refers to a limited number of prints that will be created. It creates a unique and collectible piece of art. After an edition is sold out, it will no longer be available.

• How are your prints made?

  All of our prints are created using Epson UltraChrome pigment-based inks on Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper. This is a bright white 100% cotton fine art paper ideal for reproducing high contrast images.

• What is Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper?

  Somerset Enhanced Velvet is a beautiful artist paper designed for inkjet printing. The paper has an invisible coating on one side, which allows the creation of stunning prints with a wide colour gamut. Made from 100% cotton using a traditional mould machine, this is an authentic artist paper that produces outstanding results. The paper is made using quality materials to give an archival sheet that is buffered with calcium carbonate to help protect prints from atmosphere pollutants. Somerset Enhanced Velvet makes prints look like original pieces of artwork.

• How do I look after my prints?

  The best way to protect your art is to frame it properly. We sell custom frames that ensure your print will last a lifetime. You can also find a frame locally after you receive the print. Make sure the frame has archival qualities. If you are not going to immediately frame your art, store it flat in a plastic sheet and make sure it isn’t exposed to direct sunlight.

Frames

• How are your frames made?

  Our custom frames, professionally assembled in Toronto, Ontario, have luxurious finishes that will make your art last forever in your art collection. We use an Italian artisan crafted frame. Wood mouldings use the highest quality materials - woods from active reforestation programs and environmentally safe finishes and materials. Glass is Crystal clear, UV protection. The archival custom measured mat is beveled cut to the image on a 45 degree angle. Mat is acid-free and lignin-free for maximum artwork protection. A 3/16“ acid free foam core backing is placed behind artwork. Our frames are finished with a dust cover, wire, and hanger.

• Is it worth buying a frame from Art from Concentrate?

  Our frames are exceptionally well priced and beautifully present the artwork, but the choice is up to you. If you are interested in receiving an exceptionally high quality frame that allows your artwork to be “wall-ready” once you receive it, then you won’t be disappointed with the Art From Concentrate frame. When you purchase a frame with your print, we will place the certificate of authenticity in an envelope attached to the back of the frame.

  Here are two tips: 1) framed artwork is enjoyed best when it is hung at eye level and 2) framed artwork shouldn’t be hung in direct sunlight.

Payment

• What currency is used on the site?

  All prices are in Canadian dollars. If that isn’t your currency, you can still purchase from Art From Concentrate. At the checkout the transaction will be converted into the currency of your country.

• How will duties and import fees affect my purchase?

  All orders shipped outside of Canada will potentially be charged duties, import fees and taxes. Customers are responsible for paying all international customs and duty fees. We are unable to calculate how much these fees are and we can’t determine if these are applicable. You may be required to pay duty, import fees and taxes when you receive the package. You may be notified by your customs agency or the shipping company that they are holding your package if duty is due. Please contact your respective customs agency for more information. Unfortunately, we can’t mark anything as a gift.

• How long does it take to ship?

  The standard lead time to ship our prints is 7-10 business days. Prints are carefully hand packaged to ensure the highest quality.

• Will I receive a confirmation email once I submit my order?

  You will receive an automatic email confirmation after you’ve placed your order. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at support@artfromconcentrate.com.

• Will I be alerted when my print ships?

  Once we ship your print, we will send you an email that has a package tracking number. If you enter your tracking number using Canada Post's tracking page, you can view the progress of your package.

• What happens if my print is damaged when I receive it?

  Contact us at support@artfromconcentrate within 15 days from the date it was delivered by the shipping carrier with a picture of the damaged print and we will work out a solution.

• How are prints shipped?

  Unframed artwork is shipped flat in a plastic sleeve placed between two stiff corrugated cardboard pieces and then placed in a stay-flat envelope. Framed artwork is packaged in rectangular shipping boxes along with lots of bubble wrap to make sure your artwork arrives without a scratch. Shipping cost is calculated at the checkout. Prints typically ship within 7-10 business days using Canada Post and usually arrive within 1 to 5 days after it leaves our shipping facility.

• Can I track my package online?

  Yes, we provide a tracking number in our shipping notification email. You can enter this number on Canada Post’s tracking page. and track the package.

Returns

• What is your return policy?

  We make all of our prints and frames using the highest quality materials and we always aim to leave our customers amazed. In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied, please notify us at support@artfromconcentrate.com within 15 days from the date it was delivered by the shipping carrier. We will happily accept the return.

• If my art is damaged, will you replace it?

  In very rare circumstances, a print may be damaged upon receipt due to a shipping or a printing error. If this should happen to you, please contact us at support@artfromconcrentrate.com within 15 days from the date it was delivered by the shipping carrier and we will happily send you a replacement.
